Tracking cleanup progress in Oak Ridge

The Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board will holds its monthly meeting June 8 at the DOE Information Center, 475 Oak Ridge Turnpike. The meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 6 p.m.
According to info provided by the SSAB, a citizens advisory board to the Dept. of Energy's environmental management program, the June 8 presentation will be about the annual DOE/Oak Ridge Remediation Effectiveness Report. The report provides an update on progress or lack thereof on the Federal Facilities Agreement and CERCLA-related requirements and activities in Oak Ridge.
